In November 2006, Walter Viner was appointed as a Regional Chair of the Review Tribunal to hear appeals for disability benefits under the Canada Pension Plan.
This is a 3 year appointment. Walter generally hears cases in Ottawa, Belleville, Whitby, Toronto, Hamilton, and, on occasion, outside of the Province of Ontario.
